This female Cheetah has just taken this young male Impala down. She has it in the suffocating death grip on the throat making sure She begins to drag her kill from out in the open to under a bit of cover Here she takes a bit of a breather after dragging it 20 - 30 meters Busy feeding She would feed for a while then sit up and scan the area for any possible predators A quick glance up at me sitting quietly and observing her feeding Regular scanning between feeding bouts After consuming most of the hind-quarter meat she takes a break from feeding and moves off to rest for a while Later on the inevitable arrival of some Vultures occurs. There is not much they miss. A couple of Hooded Vultures drop out of the sky and perch in the trees nearby. Luckily for the Cheetah no White-backed Vultures appeared, as in numbers, they can chase a Cheetah of their kill At one point later in the afternoon some Impala started alarming in the vicinity. On follow up this female Leopard was located moving through the area. Luckily for the Cheetah she continued on her way en route to link up with her cub in some neraby thick riverine bush. An eventful outing

The male Hippo was resting in the shallow water in the dam. He then decided to move up onto the dam wall.. No sooner had he done that, when suddenly he changed his mind, spun around and made a dash down the embankment for the safety of the water again. Luckily I managed to get off a burst to capture the moment
